French M1817/69 Infantry Hanger
One-piece cast brass hilt with integral knucklebow and ribbed grip. Curved single-edged unfullered 23 1/4" blade marked "CA" at the forte, mostly smooth with a few patches of rust. Blade never sharpened. No scabbard.
