Lovely example of a WWI German Cavalry Crop. Silver mounts on wood handle, marked with silver content "800". Provenance: Carried by consignors’s grandfather, Lt. Colonel Arsa von Muggenthaler in WWI. He was a surgeon in the First Bavarian Cavalry.
