Japanese Army Officer’s Parade Sabre
Fine example with cast brass hilt with single knucklebow, featuring pierced
chrysanthemum decor. Silver family mon on backstrap. Chrome plated 32 1/4"
sabre blade with false hamon. Very minor chrome loss and scuffing. Chrome
plated scabbard with single carrying ring. Minor chrome loss near the throat
and on reverse, as expected from normal use. Includes improperly tied sword
knot. One of the best examples available.
