Cherry Entertainment Center
A team design project between the client and Renaissance Woodcraft using the
client’s concept. A height of nearly 11' was desired to fit in with the 20'
ceiling. Constructed of cherry solids and veneers, this unit features open sides
and solid raised panel cherry doors. Removable speaker covers and pocketing TV
doors. Pilasters are custom molded reeded cherry with plinths at the base and
rosette blocks at the top. The top molding is inlaid madrone burl veneer, a
highly figured wood which closely matches cherry in color. Wood was left natural
color and finished with satin furniture grade M. L. Campbell Krystal catalyzed
conversion varnish.
