WWI 1-Pounder Trench Art Lamp

Description

Body of the lamp is composed of a complete inert 1-pounder US naval round; the base
stamped “WNY/1-17/1-PDR H/JHG(anchor)VKC”. The shell is embossed with “GRACE”
diagonally and tree leaves on a stippled background and mounted on a cast brass four-leg
base and has a curved brass tube extending from the tip of the projectile with a hanging
electric light socket with pull chain switch and glass shade. Modern electric wiring with 6
foot cord and 110v plug. Overall height 16 1/4″, weight 4 pounds
