Description
Featuring plain nickel-plated steel hilt with P-guard, reverse scroll quillon, and dove-head pommel with integral backstrap and riveted grip “ears”. Black celluloid grip with alternating single-strand and twisted brass wire wrap. Unmarked slender slightly curved 33” (84 cm) blade with single fuller. Original black-painted steel scabbard with fixed single carry ring. Correct and original green and gray portapee with black leather strap. Overall length 38” (96.5 cm), not including scabbard. The Nazi Army enlisted sword was one of the few Nazi swords which did not have a swastika featured anywhere on it.
