Description
Featuring brass hilt comprising large down-turned shell guard, single scroll quillon, and integral knuckle guard joining the capstan pommel; all decorated with shell designs in relief. One-piece horn grip. Single-edged 22” (56 cm) blade with one broad and one narrow fuller; the upper quarter with scroll engraving, a boar on one side and stag on the other. Original brown leather scabbard with brass throat and chape; matching leather belt frog. Very good original condition, blade etching worn. Overall length 27” (68.6 cm), not including scabbard.
