Description
Featuring body of forged and riveted sheet iron and heavy rectangular-section shackle. Front features a diamond-shaped hinged plate enclosing the keyhole; the rear with fixed diamond-shaped plate with incised cross and orb mark. Original key. Shows great age, retaining much of its original red paint; the balance with dark brown patina. A few scratches on the shackle. Closed height 4 1/8” (105 mm), width 2 3/8” (60 mm). Functions properly.
