Description
Flat unmarked lock plate with swan neck cock and beveled pan. Octagonal to round 6″
barrel of 12mm bore with silver-inlaid scroll work and gold band on breech (about 40%
silver lacking); gold-filled floral design on barrel tang. Highly figured walnut root wood
stock (forend with tight crack), inlaid with silver wire in scroll design (minor losses). Steel
mounts including trigger guard with decorative finials, matching ramrod thimbles, side
plate, wrist inlay, and butt cap. Original horn-tipped wood ramrod. Overall length 10 ½”.
Very light pitting on steel parts. Action tight and crisp. A very attractive high-quality pistol.
