Featuring one-piece oval-section jade (nephrite) grip with gilt brass pierced base ferrule
and lozenge-shaped pommel cap. Straight 9″ diamond-section blade with inscribed
Chinese characters on one side, showing grain in the forging. Wooden scabbard covered
with green sharkskin and featuring gilt brass throat (loose), Drag, and single carry band
and ring. Overall length 13 1/4″, not including scabbard. Very good quality and condition.
