Description
Copper-plated stirrup guard with reverse scroll quillon, joined to the flat-topped pommel with integral backstrap. Tapered wood grip with twisted copper wire wrap. Broad unmarked 30 3/4″ curved single-edged blade with wide full-length fuller, 8″ false edge, and clipped point (slightly rounded). Copper has been recently cleaned and the blade is moderately pitted overall. A well-balanced fighting sabre. Overall length 35 ½”.
