Description
Greek Archaic Period wide bronze sword blade; large and well-formed with pronounced
medial ridge over the upper half transitioning to lens-section toward the point. Tang bored
for grip retaining pin, but lacking grip. Attractive green patina with minor encrustation.
Includes a custom made display stand. Good Condition, dimensions: 13 5/8″ long, 1 5/8″
wide, 6.1 ounces weight. Provenance: From an old British collection, acquired on the UK
art market in the 1980s. Comes with professional Certificate of Authenticity.
