Fine CDV of controversial Confederate
Vice President Alexander Stephens. Professionally framed and matted using acid free
materials. Included in the fine display is a clipped autograph “Alexander H. Stephens,
M.C. of Georgia, Liberty Hall Crawfordville, Ga” in three lines. Stephens is known for
being largely at odds with CS President Jefferson Davis and spent much of his term away
from the center of government in Richmond. He served as a member of the US Congress
after the war, representing his home state of Georgia.
