Description
Featuring broad curved 32 3/4″ single-edged blade with double fullers and broadening
double-edged point. Etched decoration on both sides up to the tip with sun, moon and
stars, hand with saber extending out of a cloud, and a long coiled serpent. Iron hilt with
single reverse scroll quillon, openwork guard with upturned shell guard chiseled and
pierced with foliage and serpent heads, knucklebow with large central shell decoration
attached to the pommel of stylized lions head form with chiseled serpent motif; fluted
ebony grip with iron base ferrule. Overall length 38″. Wear, light pitting, and age patina to
the metal parts commensurate with age and use.
