Description
Iron hilt featuring large side ring with central double knob; straight reverse quillon with knob
finial; knuckle bow with central double knob connected to the bun-shaped pommel. Wood
grip with twisted iron wire wrap and brass Turks heads top and bottom. Straight 32″
double-edged hollow-ground blade with distinct full-length medial ridge and 5 ½” central
fuller with indistinct stamped markings on both sides; showing lamination, light pitting, age
staining, and a few shallow edge nicks. Overall length 37 1/4″.
