Description
Featuring canted 5 ½” crescent-shaped axe blade with serpentine lugs top and bottom and
remains of decoration or maker’s mark on one face; reverse with down-curved beak and
serpentine lugs top and bottom. Ten inch leaf-shaped blade with pronounced medial ridge
and thickened armor-piercing point. Conical ferrule with integrally forged langets fore and
aft; mounted on later round-section wood shaft. Metal shows lamination and scattered light
pitting. Length of metal 20 ½”, overall length 87 ½”. Price includes domestic shipping.
