Description

Made for the Type 97 81 mm mortar, this round features a black-painted body with red and yellow stripes; painted and stamped kanji and stamped numbers; six fins for stabilization in flight. Fitted with a screw-on brass Type 88 impact fuze, stamped with kanji and numbers. 14 1/8” (35.9 cm) length, weight 5 pounds 13 ounces (2.637 kg). Light rust showing, generally clear markings.
