Description
Slender 13″ lens-section blade with central fuller stamped with “INRI MARIA” on both
sides with an anchor mark below the fuller. The fuller is bordered with a fine line and tiny
punched dots. Iron hilt with short quillons, slightly canted down and forward with
expanded fluted finials. Quillon block with chiseled coat of arms, the raised portions
polished bright on a blackened ground. Segmented chiseled bun-shaped pommel, the
grip with coarse twisted iron wire wrap and finished with ferrules top and bottom. Overall
length 17 3/4″. Very good condition.
