Description
Hilt of garuda form crafted in silver with ruby eyes and gilt beak and crown, the background
of silver filigree scroll work with gold flower petal accents. Scabbard decorated ensuite of
silver filgree with a ruby and sapphire cabochon mounted toli-toli; gilt bands and floral
accents on both sides, with two rows of gold flower petal bands on the edges. Quality 13
1/2″ flamboyant Damascus blade with elaborate forging pattern. Total of 60 rubies and one
sapphire. Exceptional quality and condition, of 20th Century manufacture. Overall length 15
3/4″ (40 cm), not including scabbard.
