Description
Featuring 25″ curved saber blade and 6″ concave axe blade pierced with punched holes;
down-curved rear beak with three punched holes and stamped with a cross and orb
maker’s mark. Integrally forged 14″ long side straps and a pair of front and rear straps;
mounted on later rectangular hardwood shaft with molded corners. Overall length 92 ½”.
Other than the saber halberds from the Bavarian Army Museum, this is the first 16th C
saber halberd which we have encountered in over 21 years of business. Price includes
