Description
Hand forged head with dark age patina. From the Robert Kuck Collection, this beautifully
shaped spike axe features a 9″ long axe head with heavy square-section spike and is
mounted on an old handle with a pair of incised lines (possibly the original). Length with
handle 16 ½”. Being offered from the Tom Richards Collection and pictured in “Who’s
Who in Indian Relics”, No. 9, p. 293. Museum quality. Original spike axes are very rare
and sought after by collectors.
