Description
Modern copy of the iconic Saxon left hand dagger, as carried by the Saxon Electoral Guard. Features 11” double-edged blade of flattened diamond-section with central fuller extending to within 2 1/2” of the point; stamped with maker’s name “DELTIN” and a shield mark on the ricasso. Steel guard with slightly down-curved acorn finials and single side ring. Conical pommel with button; the grip with black leather cover and top and bottom ferrules with flower petal decoration. No scabbard. Overall length 15 3/4”. A few light scratches on the blade.
