Description
Hilt of cast steel, featuring symmetrical guard with double down-turned quillons with
pierced expanded finials. Pommel with four large lobes (two pierced) and large two-
stage button; wood grip lacking wire wrap. Forged steel 37″ oval-section double-edged
blade with long single offset fuller; obscured mark at ricasso engraved in script. Very
good quality and balance; probably made in the early 1900’s.
