Matted and framed under glass vintage print entitled “Sinking of the Bismarck” in script.
Image depicts a burning Bismarck in the center surrounded by ships firing upon her with
aircraft overhead. Framed size 21 ½” x 16 ½”. Image size 16″ x 10 ½”. Shows some
discoloration of the matting due to UV exposure and minor wear to frame. Discoloration
in the photo is due to glare from the glass. Appears to be 1940’s or 50’s vintage with partial
label of the gallery that did the framing in Ft. Myers, Fla.
