Steel hilt with engraved guard of cruciform shape with vertically recurved quillons; fluted
ovoid pommel with button; wood grip wrapped with twisted copper wire and steel ferrules
top and bottom. Hollow-ground 28 7/8″ double-edged blade engraved on the upper third
with foliage and script lettering on both sides. Overall length 34 1/2″.
