Description
Hilt in the form of a dagger featuring short turned quillons with small button finials, two-
stage black horn grips, and turned pommel and middle band ensuite. In place of a blade it
features a tapering 7″ octagonal to round barrel with cannon muzzle of approximately 7mm
bore and external flintlock mechanism. Overall length 14 3/8″. Light pitting and age
staining to metal parts. Scarce and interesting early firearm.
