Boxlock action with central ring neck cock and top sliding safety. 2″ round cannon barrel of
approximately .42 caliber. One-piece checkered walnut grip with silver wire inlay. Metal
showing wear, with only traces of engarved decoration on the lock and no visible maker’s
markings; dark gunmetal gray patina. Grips with tight crack on left side and some silver loss
and a rich brown patina. Smaller than most examples, with overall length of 6″. Probably
English.
