Description
Axe blade with angled deeply concave edge and down-curved rear beak; the surface
engraved with floral and geometric shapes and pierced with geometric cutouts; lacking
side lugs. Flattened diamond-section 16″ thrusting blade engraved on the bottom section
en suite, with knob of six inserted face medallions at the base. Shorteneds integral side
straps; mounted on later round-section wood shaft. Length of metal 27″, overall 84 1/4″.
