WWII 75 mm Trench Art Vase

Description

Made from an empty 75 mm artillery cartridge, the base marked “75MM.M18/LOT
C.B.&C.CO-137/1943″. The lower third is compressed and fluted and the upper portion
features an embossed floral decoration with stippled background. Around the base is a
border of connecting diamonds with stippled background; the upper border with embossed
band and scalloped edge. Over height 10 ½”, weight 2 pounds 6 oz. Untouched dark
