Description
Hand forged iron with belt loop featuring cut geometric edge sculpting and cross hatching
on the front surface. Integral round-section bar for suspending scabbard with acorn finial.
Fits 2″ belt. Shows quality hand work and considerable age. These old sword hangers
are rarely found. Overall length 4 ½”, width 1 15/16″, extends 2″ from back of belt loop.
Possibly of Middle Eastern manufacture
