Description
Made from an empty 75 mm brass shell casing with an applied brass badge of the Royal
Flying Corps with a crowned eagle and the motto “PER ARDUA AD ASTRA” (from the
Latin and generally translated as “through adversity to the stars”). Base of shell with
primer removed and stamped “ANS, 2/932, and 75/27″. Other than the applied RFC
badge the shell is unadorned. Overall height 7 1/4″. Price includes domestic US
