Description
Featuring one-piece cast bronze hilt, depicting a standing woman in long flowing gown holding a dagger serving as the grip, standing over a pair of reclining cherubs surrounded by foliage and the heads of an amorous couple serving as the guard. Double edged 5 1/4” diamond-section blade with medial ridge and 2/3 length double fullers; the point very sharp. Overall length 9 3/8”. Hilt with pleasing patina, the blade with scattered light pitting. No scabbard.
