Description
Featuring unmarked 31 1/4″ (79.5 cm) blade of hollow-ground triangular section with 3/4
length central fuller on one side and tapering to a very sharp point. Chiseled and pierced
steel hilt considting of assymetrical shell guard, pas d’ane, reverse scroll quillon, D-shape
knuckle bow, and ovoid pommel with button; all finely chiseled and pierced with scrolling
foliate decoration. Grip wrapped with pairs of twisted silver wire alternating with silver bands
and finished with Turks heads top and bottom. Very fine quality and condition, with a few
tiny areas of minor corrosion. Overall length 38 1/8″ (96.8 cm).
