Description
Featuring 32 1/8” (81.6 cm) two-stage lens-section blade, the forte with engraved foliage and stands of arms (worn); red leather blade washer. Silver hilt cast, chased and pierced with intricate decoration featuring stands of arms, foliage, and sunbursts; with gilding in the recesses. Spherical pommel decorated with cavalry battle scene in relief; small button finial. The blade with light pitting and wear; the tip slightly blunted. Hilt a real work of art and near excellent. Overall length 37 3/4” (96 cm).
