Description
Unmarked and of undetermined age and origin, this steel bayonet is unusual in that rather
than being a plug bayonet with tapered grip to fit inside a gun barrel, it has a cylindrical
socket designed to fit over a barrel. Hollow-ground triangular-section 7 7/8″ threaded
blade which screws into the socket. Overall length 11″. Inside diameter of socket 18 mm.
