Description
Measuring 107 1/2″ in length, this laminated mahogany propeller has an approximately 9
¾” hub thickness and approximately 10″ hub diameter. A decal with intertwined “CPB”
monogram, probably a maker’s label, is mounted to one end of the propeller. The side of
the hub is stamped: “N 108 / D 235 / P 223”. No bolt holes open. A modest amount of
chipping is along the edges, otherwise the propeller is in very good condition. Original
varnish, showing wear and crackling. Perfect decoration for the aviation enthusiast’s Man
Cave. From the collection of Dr. Douglas Harman.
