Empty brass shell casing with scalloped rim, intricately embossed with floral decoration on
a stippled background with white coloring to the recesses to highlight the design.
Geometric pattern around the base of the shell. Base stamped “A L.516.17D” and “ b5D”,
likely indicating the lot number and 1917 manufacture. Brown patina on the brass.
Overall height 6 ½”.
