Made from tanned deer hide with soft soles and featuring beautiful raised bead floral
design with Mohawk salt and pepper beading. Cuff with blue border and ribbon ties. Left
moccasin with tear in sole and wear hole in the black cotton cloth. These moccasins are
featured in Lar Hothem’s “Indian Trade Relics” on page 184 and described as “museum
grade”. The Mohawk were fierce warriors, feared by other tribes and white settlers alike.
