Description
Brass hilt featuring straight crossguard with spiral twist quillons expanding toward the
finials. Double side rings on the obverse side, the outer with turned baluster in the center.
Spiral twist bun-shaped pommel with button; ribbed diagonal grip with twisted brass wire
wrap. Tapering unmarked straight double-edged 14″ blade with pronounced medial ridge
on both sides. Original leather-covered wood scabbard with brass mounts, the throat with
fixed carry rings. Very good condition, the scabbard leather showing wear and flaking.
Overall length 19″, not including scabbard. Very attractive dagger of good quality
