Description
Featuring cast brass hilt, consisting of symmetrical boat-shaped guard, small pas d’ane,
forward and reverse scroll quillons, and integrally cast knuckle bow joining the globular
pommel; all of which is decorated with gadrooning. Solid brass grip with expanded central
section, decorated ensuite. Straight, double-edged 27″ blade of lens section, the ricasso
with inlaid brass mark and “TOLEDO” on both sides (one side worn). Very good condition;
the brass cleaned bright and blade with scattered light pitting and age stains. Overall length
33″.
