Description
High quality finely detailed all-metal tin plate model, featuring wind-up clockwork motor and
battery-operated lights. It features 3-color camouflage paint, four hand-painted plastic
soldiers, folding camouflage cloth top, and retains both of its original flags and metal rifles.
Features 6 rubber tires (two are mounted spares), marked “LINEOL”. Mechanism is
untested, but everything appears to be present and functional (no winding crank). One
headlight wire is no longer attached. Very good condition, showing minor wear to paint and
the cloth top from period use. Overall length 10″, width 4″, height 3 ½”. 7.5 cm series,
which would go with the 88mm antiaircraft gun or PAK 36 anti-tank gun offered on this site
(not included). Such models would have been cherished by German boys growing up in
pre-war Nazi Germany, many of whom were members of the Hitler Youth and later saw
action in Germany’s armed forces during WWII.
