Description
Iron hilt with recurved quillons and single heart-shaped side ring with slightly raised and
engraved decoration on quillon finials and side ring, finished bright on a blackened ground.
Ovoid pommel with button, incised with crossed lines. Grip with twisted iron wire wrap and
turks heads top and bottom. Unmarked hollow ground 9 7/8″ diamond-section blade.
Black leather scabbard with iron mounts shows great age and is possibly the original.
Overall length 14 1/2″.
