Description
Hand-forged all-steel construction featuring 7 1/4″ long head with round hammer head with
decorative radial face and slightly curved diamond-section rear beak; dovetailed 5 7/8″ belt
hook. Solid tapering square-to-round shaft with incised line decoration, turned baluster,
and solid steel grip with radial disc guard. Larger and heavier than typically found with
overall length of 25 1/4″ and weight of 3 pounds 5 ounces (1500 g). Shows lamination and
forging flaws; the metal cleaned and pitted. A beast of a weapon against an armored
opponent.
