turned ricasso; stamped with a maker’s mark. Turned baluster grip and integral pommel;
turned quillons decorated ensuite with button finials. Overall length 11 5/8″. Light pin-prick
pitting and rust patina in protected areas.

large button finials, chiseled with cross hatching on the ends. Solid steel spirally fluted grip
with ball finial. Triangular-section 9 ½” blade with sharp tapering point and decoratively
turned ricasso. Pitted and dark with age. Overall length 13″.
