Description
Cast brass hilt featuring boat-shaped guard with raised border, smooth forward and reverse quillons, and knuckle bow joining the ovoid pommel with large button. Wood grip with only the Turks heads remaining of the original wire grip wrapping. Slender 32 1/2” blade of hexagonal section with long lens-shaped ricasso; finely engraved with Arabesques and floral and shell motif. Brass cleaned, blade is fine. Overall length 38 1/2”.
